Description
Katachi-Go is a colorful 2D and 3D logic puzzle. A mathematically optimized 12-piece set yields millions of possible puzzles. Play it free online, or buy the physical set today. Every other shape puzzle makes you guess. This one gives you clues. Solves like a colorful 3D Sudoku — you'll know you're right before the last piece is down. Katachi-Go uses its own original piece set (including a 3-ball piece not found in a traditional Kanoodle set) totaling 55 spheres, and ships as a 3D-printed puzzle handmade right here in Smithfield, Utah — just like every other Hoffmakers product.

How many pieces does it have?
12 original sphere-cluster pieces totaling 55 spheres, fitting into a 5x11 tray or a stacked pyramid.
What does "mathematically optimized" actually mean?
The 12-piece set wasn't picked by hand — we ran an exhaustive computer search across thousands of candidate shape combinations and kept the one set that lets every single piece reach the very top of the stacked pyramid build (not just a lucky few), while still guaranteeing a perfect 55-sphere fit. The flat tray alone has thousands of confirmed unique solutions, with the true count still climbing past every search we've run.
Are there really millions of possible puzzles?
Yes — factor in every full-board solution, all 7 difficulty tiers (2D) plus the pyramid build, 5 difficulty settings, and the randomized pattern of which clues show for each piece, and the number of distinct puzzles you could be handed clears into the millions.
